gratitude for confidence
Our brains are wired towards negativity, so when we go through a rougher time, we tend to focus on what went wrong, and forget all the smaller pleasures and good things that happened during that time.
Which is why, I find this page a treasure to get back to regularly. We tend to want to escape situations, and we do this by planning our next move. Which is great, don’t get me wrong. However, it’s important to pause, reflect, and take in what happened.

I am all about making confidence fun, and building a character is one of my favourite ways to do so!
The "Batman Effect" refers to the psychological phenomenon where people, particularly children, can improve their performance on a challenging task by pretending to be a competent character like Batman, essentially creating a mental "alter ego" that allows them to approach the task with a different perspective and increased motivation, often leading to better focus and perseverance.
In this worksheet, you will build your confidence character step by step.
